This is a vintage reproduction denim of the Levi's "701 XX" model, manufactured in February 1992 in Japan.
Model Name (701 XX): This is a reproduction of the high-waisted, hip-hugging denim, also known as "Monroe Denim," originally made for women from the 1930s to the 1950s.
Manufacturing Date (02 92): The numbers "02 92" on the right side of the middle of the tag indicate that it was manufactured in February 1992.
Factory Number (J22): This code indicates that it was produced at a designated Levi's factory in Japan.
Quality Label: Made in Japan of 100% cotton and sold by Levi Strauss Japan at the time.
This is a reproduction model of the denim made famous by Marilyn Monroe.
There are some slight tears on both hems, but they are not very noticeable. Please refer to the images for details.
